Gary Shoats was born in 1966 in San Antonio. His father was a teacher and mother was a house wife. Since childhood, his mind is creative. He used to make small toys of his own, when he was 10 year old. After completing his secondary education, he moved to Austin, where his uncle had a carpentry shop. At there, he learned the general carpentry techniques and practiced for three years. During this time, he acquired skills and implemented his ideas and emerged as a reputed carpenter.
